Common questions

Before you start.

What age can kids start strength training?

Around age 7 and up, with everything scaled and coached for their stage — the focus is technique and development, not heavy maxes.

Is lifting safe for young athletes?

Yes. Coach-led, testing-based strength training is one of the safest, most beneficial things a young athlete can do when done properly.

Will strength training stunt my child’s growth?

No — that is a myth. Properly coached strength training supports healthy development and reduces injury risk.
